About us
Københavnercaféen is a cosy, genuine Danish restaurant, located in one of Copenhagen’s small and cozy streets. The good traditional Danish smørrebrød dominates the menu for lunch, and in the evening we serve lovely Danish dinners.
Smørrebrød (openfaced sandwhiches)
Our “smørrebrød” is a tribute to the classic. Under the head chef’s sharp gaze, there are no slips in the roller. The good craftsmanship comes into its own, and it is clear to both see and taste. The result is razor-sharp little pieces of art on a plate that taste like the birds are singing.
Dinner
The classic Danish cuisine is known and loved by everyone. Our recipes are based on good local ingredients, with added experience and love. Our philosophy is simple, good Danish food requires good Danish ingredients. And gravy. Plenty of gravy.

If you are more than 8 people, you must first think about the menu, as it is unfortunately not possible to order a la carte.
